The Jobs Application Pool is now live!!!

New and easy way to access employment opportunities!
The Parkland Crisis Centre & Women's Shelter is part of a new online Jobs Application Pool, which is now live!
This resource will connect Manitoba Family Violence (FV) sector employers, such as the Parkland Crisis Centre, with available positions in their organizations, to potential applicants.
The FV sector frequently has full-time, part-time and contract positions available in various locations across the province, and the Jobs Application Pool will highlight these diverse roles.
All applicant information in the Jobs Application Pool is confidential and will only be shared with the Executive Directors of FV shelters and agencies, who may be looking for staff in the locations the applicant selects.
To Apply, access the Jobs Application Pool here: https://maws.mb.ca/careers/application-pool/

Shelter Support Foundations Training Program!

MAWS is proud to launch the new Shelter Support Foundations Training Program! This free training has been developed in partnership with Manitoba Family Violence and homeless shelters, and Red River College Polytech. We’d like to thank our partners, as well as the Government of Manitoba for their funding and support of this project.

This intensive course is an excellent opportunity for potential shelter workers to connect with a local FV or homeless shelter. This is a chance for them to get their foot in the door, support local communities, and help reduce gender-based violence and homelessness in Manitoba! Completion of the full course and work placement may lead to employment at a shelter.
