"November is Domestic Violence Awareness Month"!

Kari Prawdzik, Executive Director of The Parkland Crisis Centre & Women’s Shelter would like to extend her sincere appreciation to Jason Zurba and The Dauphin Consumers Coop, for the generous donation raised through their employee volunteer fund. "Jason is a familiar face in the community, has volunteered many hours coaching the Dauphin Clippers Football team in Dauphin, and has chosen The Parkland Crisis Centre & Women's Shelter, as his charity of choice"!

Kari said "The Crisis Centre has often been full to capacity during the Covid-19 pandemic, and those accessing services, sometimes came with very little". "These proceeds will be used towards purchasing warm hats, scarves, mitts and socks for women and their children, and men, who access services at the Crisis Centre".
